Jan Cannizzo

Jan Cannizzo is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has been reimagining the way he teaches mathematics for years, including championing active learning methods in his calculus courses, contributing to the design and implementation of educational software, and developing a flipped-classroom approach to online teaching during the pandemic. In 2017, he received the Harvey N. Davis Distinguished Teaching Assistant Professor Award.
